Daniel Day Lewis for Oscars

I think DiCaprio might be one of those guys who never gets an Oscar, though he has delivered many brilliant performances. I think it’s the timing and the kind of top-notch movies being made now-a-days.

I would say Daniel Day Lewis should win for Lincoln. Lincoln is one of my favorite historical characters. And Daniel Day Lewis was beyond credible, he was Lincoln. The frail and fiery fit together perfectly, a man who would do whatever needed to be done, threaten, bribe, lie by omission, try to play his own son: it’s only in recent years that we have come to recognize a hero for his limitations and a struggle against them, as much as that for his easy victories and strengths.
